Raipur, 12 July 2024 : Today, members of the All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council, Chhattisgarh, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai to extend an invitation for him to attend their upcoming program in honor of ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’. Expressing gratitude for the invitation, the Chief Minister commended the council members for their proactive initiative. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma also joined in the occasion.
During the meeting, the council delegation informed the Chief Minister that their program on Kargil Vijay Diwas commemorates the sacrifices of the martyred soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. They also mentioned their efforts to felicitate the families of these brave soldiers.
Highlighting their ongoing activities, the delegation mentioned that the council is currently engaged in providing youth training across 16 districts of the state, encouraging them to consider a career in the armed forces for national service. Several former Kargil soldiers, including Shri Khemchand Nishad, Shri Dinalal Sahu, Shri Rohit Kumar, Shri Rupendra Sahu, and Shri Vijay Kumar Daga, were present during the meeting with the Chief Minister.
