Bhopal, November 1, 2025- Marking the State’s 70th Foundation Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav unveiled the Viksit Madhya Pradesh @2047 Vision Document, describing it as a roadmap to transform the state into a strong, self-reliant, and prosperous Madhya Pradesh over the next two decades.
Speaking at the “Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh” ceremony held at Ravindra Bhavan, Dr. Yadav said, “We are not just celebrating our past milestones, but initiating the next 25 years of accelerated progress.” He highlighted that the past two years had laid a firm foundation for industrial growth, job creation, and infrastructural transformation, ensuring that Madhya Pradesh emerges as a leading industrial hub in India.
Developed through extensive public consultation—from panchayat to district levels—the Vision Document aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. It incorporates suggestions from across sectors and regions, ensuring a people-centric development approach.
Chief Secretary Anurag Jain outlined the key pillars of the Vision: Happiness, Prosperity, and Culture, with guidance from NITI Aayog. The document emphasizes “Make in Madhya Pradesh”, agricultural modernization, and digital empowerment through AI-based initiatives
A major highlight of the event was the signing of agreements for the Ujjain Airport Development Project, in the presence of Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu. Ujjain will become the state’s fourth new airport after Rewa, Satna, and Datia, taking the total to nine operational airports.
Contracts were also awarded for Rewa–New Delhi (Alliance Air) and Rewa–Indore (IndiGo) flights, while new Helicopter Tourism Services were announced under the PM Shri scheme.
The Chief Minister launched the MP e-Seva Portal, enabling citizens to access all government services on a single platform in a transparent and user-friendly manner. Alongside, the Invest MP 3.0 Portal was introduced to streamline industrial investments digitally, and the Wash on Wheels App was unveiled to modernize rural sanitation management.
Madhya Pradesh will soon become the first state in India where the entire government ecosystem is accessible on one screen. As of today, 500 services are live, with plans to add over 1,750 more.
Calling 2025 the Year of Investment and Employment, Dr. Yadav revealed that Madhya Pradesh has received investment proposals worth ₹30 lakh crore, out of which ₹8.44 lakh crore have already been approved, creating over 6 lakh new jobs.
He added that 8.25 lakh people have gained employment in the last two years, and ₹23,853 crore worth of investments have materialized. Over 60,000 government posts have been filled, and two lakh new government jobs will be created within the next three years.
The upcoming Pradhanmantri MITRA Park and Rail Coach Factory in Umariya, Raisen district, are expected to further expand employment and manufacturing potential.
Dr. Yadav emphasized agriculture as the cornerstone of the state’s economy, highlighting initiatives such as River Linking Projects, solar-powered irrigation pumps, and entrepreneurship programs for farmers.
He also announced the creation of the Omkareshwar Sanctuary in Khandwa and Dewas districts, expanding the state’s eco-tourism network. With two new tiger reserves, a cheetah sanctuary, and wildlife conservation for species like wild buffalo and rhinos, Madhya Pradesh is positioning itself as an eco-tourism capital of India.
Union Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu lauded the CM’s leadership, calling him “a true symbol of public service”. He noted that the Vision Document represents the spirit of innovation and inclusivity—“From Om to AI, Madhya Pradesh embodies both heritage and progress.”
Dr. Suman K. Bery, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, remarked that Madhya Pradesh is “the heart of India” not just geographically, but also in biodiversity and natural wealth. He appreciated the document’s participatory approach and urged greater inclusion of women in the workforce.
With continued expansion of railway connectivity such as the Indore–Manmad line, industrial investment, digital governance, and environmental stewardship, Madhya Pradesh is poised to lead India’s growth story.
Dr. Yadav concluded, “The coming 25 years will define the destiny of Madhya Pradesh. Together, through people’s participation and innovation, we will build a Viksit and Atmanirbhar state that will strengthen the vision of a Developed India by 2047.”
The ceremony was attended by MSME Minister Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma and Bhagwandas Sabnani, AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar, Adani Group MD Pranav Adani, and several industry leaders and media representatives.
