Fogaat Public Sr. Sec. School, Faridabad gets approval for NCC Girls Battalion to train young cadets

Authority letter presented by Colonel Ajay Bisht; 50 girl cadets to undergo training

Faridabad: Fogaat Public Sr. Sec. School, in Faridabad Sector 56, Rajiv Colony, has received approval for an NCC Girls Battalion. Commanding Officer Colonel Ajay Bisht officially handed over the authority letter to School Director Dr. Satish Fogaat. Colonel Bisht congratulated the school, stating that preparing NCC cadets is a special responsibility that carries the spirit of serving the nation. He expressed confidence that the school would give special attention to the cadets, helping the country nurture disciplined soldiers and responsible citizens. The authority letter was formally received by Dr. Satish Fogaat and Principal Niketa Fogaat during a 10-day NCC Girls Camp organized in Sector 29. Expressing happiness, Dr. Satish Fogaat said that the responsibility of forming the NCC Girls Battalion is a matter of pride. Under this approval, 50 girls will be enrolled as NCC cadets, who in the future will have the opportunity to join the Indian Army. He also shared plans to seek approval for Air Force and Navy battalions in the coming years. He emphasized that this training would not only prepare girls for joining the Armed Forces but also make them self-reliant, disciplined, and contributors to the nation’s security and progress. Principal Niketa Fogaat added that girls are excelling in every field, and now with the NCC Girls Battalion, they will once again prove their capabilities through discipline, training, and service.
