In a commendable effort, the team of Connaught Place Police Station, New Delhi District has apprehended a Proclaimed Offender, Anil Kumar, son of Prem Singh, resident of Moti Bagh, was an accused in FIR No. 90/2021, under section 285/336 IPC, registered at South Campus Police Station, Delhi. However, he tried to evade case proceedings and was declared Proclaimed Offender on 01.02.2025 by the court of Sh. Sahil Monga, JMFC-6, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi.
A dedicated team comprising of HC Naurang, HC Rampal and HC Hari was formed to apprehend the Proclaimed Offender. The team functioned under the guidance of Insp. Sukhbir Malik, SHO/Connaught Place and the overall supervision of Sh. Anil Samota, ACP/Connaught Place, New Delhi District. After being declared a Proclaimed Offender, Anil Kumar tried to evade capture. However, the team made persistent efforts and conducted raids at multiple locations in Delhi. On 12.02.2025, the team managed to arrest Anil Kumar from Nanakpura Market, RK Puram, Delhi.
