Faridabad , 29 December 2023– Faridabad Model School organised a visit to Rangmanch Farm Gurugram for students of classes VI-XII as a part of annual trip. Students were excited as they boarded the buses from school. On reaching the destination they were given a welcome drink and a cordial greeting in the traditional Indian manner, complete with dhol and tilak.
The Farm Manager briefed the students about the trip’s planning and facilities. Every group of students was led by an instructor, and the pupils were divided up by the farm manager. Students had a tour of the farm after eating breakfast. For the students, an array of adventurous sports included wire crossing, commando net, tyre wall climbing, rock climbing, rappelling, ziplining and ten low and ten high rope courses, many enjoyable pastimes, such as archery, for the students, activities included air hockey, football, pool tables, table tennis, darts, cricket pitches, badminton, and frisbee.
The activities were greatly enjoyed by the students. The day’s unique attractions included a magic show, pottery classes, and katputli dance. Students created a variety of pots and tried their hand at creating clay. The dancing performance by Katputli was amazing. It was fascinating to watch how animated and enthusiastic the students were. With great enthusiasm, the pupils engaged in all of the exercises, and they were thrilled to finish each one. Many students enjoyed riding on a camel and cart for the first time, while many had their first tractor ride. Duck Pond was a delightful sight. The food was a typical Indian fusion. Students had a great time dancing with their friends. All in all, it was a genuine, hands-on first-hand experience of fun and cuisine.
