The Impressive TimesThe Congress party is preparing to demand the cancellation of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024, according to a senior leader’s statement on June 21. As the principal Opposition party, Congress plans to raise this issue during the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, which commences on June 24. Given the short duration of the session, which concludes on July 3, a dedicated discussion on NEET may not be feasible. Instead, the party intends to collaborate with its allies in INDIA to collectively address the matter during the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address in a joint sitting of Parliament.
