UP ACS Deepak Kumar Reviews VVIP Event Preparations at Noida International Airport

ACS directs officials to ensure top-level security, traffic management and essential arrangements

Gautam Buddh Nagar: In view of the proposed VVIP programme at the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar conducted an on-site inspection of the venue and reviewed the preparations.

During the visit, he inspected the programme venue, helipad, parking area and other arrangements, and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials.

Following the inspection, a review meeting was held at the auditorium of YIAPL Administrative Office at the airport. Emphasising that security should remain the top priority, ACS directed all departments to work in close coordination to ensure smooth execution of the event.

He instructed officials to ensure that all arrangements are completed in a timely, organised and standardised manner. While reviewing traffic management plans, he directed authorities to identify alternate routes, inform the public in advance about traffic diversions, and maintain a systematic parking arrangement.

Deepak Kumar also instructed officials to ensure proper arrangements for cleanliness, drinking water, electricity supply, medical facilities, fire safety and emergency services at the venue. He emphasised that all departments must perform their duties with full responsibility so that the programme is conducted safely and successfully.

Among those present during the inspection and meeting were Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Ishan Pratap Singh, Yamuna Development Authority Additional CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh, Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Medha Rupam, Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia, ADM (Finance & Revenue) Atul Kumar, ADM (Administration) Manglesh Dubey, Noida International Airport Limited CEO Christoph Schnellmann, COO Kiran Jain, City Magistrate Arvind Kumar, Jewar SDM Abhay Durgesh Singh, DCP Poonam Mishra, ACP Jewar Sarthak Sengar, and other district officials.
