Haryana: Noni Rana Gang Shooter Injured in Police Encounter, Admitted to Hospital

Shooter identified as Aman; Delhi Police raids multiple gang hideouts across Delhi-NCR, seizing weapons and cash.

Kurukshetra (Haryana), September 20:A shooter associated with the notorious Noni Rana gang was injured in a police encounter in Ladwa late Friday night and later shifted to LNJP Hospital, Kurukshetra for treatment. The shooter has been identified as Aman, who was reportedly involved in several criminal activities along with two accomplices.

According to police officials, the suspects had recently fired shots outside Barnala Shopping Complex in Yamunanagar before targeting a liquor store in Ladwa, where they allegedly looted a motorcycle at gunpoint. Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the accused, leading to a gunfight in which Aman sustained injuries.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police has intensified its crackdown on organized crime across the Delhi-NCR and Haryana region. On Thursday, nearly 40 teams from the Outer North District Police raided hideouts linked to notorious gangs, including the Tillu Tajpuria gang, Neeraj Bawana-Rajesh Bawana gang, Jitendra alias Gogi gang, and the Kala Jatheri gang. During the operation, police recovered a significant amount of cash and several firearms from multiple locations.

Earlier, Delhi Police had also conducted a joint raid at 25 locations in Dwarka and adjoining areas, targeting wanted criminals, shooters, and individuals providing logistical or financial support to gangs. According to DCP Dwarka Ankit Kumar Singh, the raids aimed to disrupt the ecosystem of organized crime. Police seized eight sophisticated pistols, country-made weapons, and detained over 26 suspects during the drive.

In another development, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police arrested a former advocate accused of running a ₹100-crore Ponzi scheme by luring investors with promises of high returns through stock market investments.

Authorities said strict action will continue against gangsters and organized crime syndicates across Delhi-NCR and Haryana.
