UPSC Announces Results of Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Exam 2025; Interviews Next Step

Qualified candidates must upload educational proof from July 29 to August 12 and prepare original documents for Personality Test.

New Delhi- The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2025, conducted from June 21 to 22. Candidates who have qualified in the written test will now proceed to the Personality Test/Interview round.

UPSC emphasized that the selection is provisional and subject to candidates fulfilling all eligibility criteria. Qualified candidates must present original certificates related to age, educational qualifications, caste category, physical disability, and EWS status during the interview.

A Detailed Application Form (DAF) window will be open from July 29 to August 12 (up to 6 PM) on the official website https://upsconline.gov.in. Candidates must use this time to confirm and upload their educational qualification details, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the Personality Test.

During this window, applicants can also update their correspondence address, service preferences, achievements, and work experience. UPSC clarified that the details submitted during this window will be considered final.

Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the rules of the examination, as published in the Gazette of India dated September 4, 2024, to avoid disqualification due to incomplete documentation. The interview schedule will be uploaded soon on UPSC’s official website and communicated via email.
