CM Yogi calls for timely delivery of benefits of welfare schemes to eligible people

CM addresses concerns of 400 people at Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur, directs officials for satisfactory resolution of issues

Gorakhpur, August 10 , 2024 – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janata Darshan in the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium within the Gorakhnath temple complex on Saturday morning, where he listened to the grievances of around 400 citizens and instructed officials for their prompt resolution. The CM directed officials to help those in need, ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reached the eligible individuals without any delay.

CM Yogi made it clear that negligence in people’s service would not be tolerated. He said: “Any issues at any level should be promptly identified and resolved. If a case is intentionally delayed, accountability must be established, and appropriate action taken against the responsible individual.

CM Yogi also provided reassurance to those who approached him with their concerns. He calmly listened to each person and assured them that their problems would be addressed effectively. He also instructed the administration and police officials to resolve public issues in a timely, fair, and efficient manner.

In response to complaints about land encroachment, CM Yogi directed officials to take strict legal action against land mafias and bullies involved in such activities. He emphasized that no one would be allowed to act with impunity and that justice would be ensured for all. For specific cases, he instructed officers to investigate whether there was any lapse in administrative support and to ensure that every victim receives immediate assistance.

As in previous Janata Darshans, many individuals sought financial aid for medical treatment. The CM instructed officials to expedite the cost estimation process for the treatment and submit it to the government promptly. He assured that adequate assistance would be provided from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund for those in need of medical care.

In addition to addressing public concerns, CM Yogi also visited the Gorakhnath temple’s cowshed on Saturday morning. He spent time caring for the cows, feeding them jaggery with his own hands, and provided necessary instructions to the Gaushala volunteers for the proper care of the cattle.
