Sports Achievers Honoured at DAV Public School, NTPC Faridabad

Faridabad , 12 Feb , 2025 – A grand ceremony was organized at DAV Public School, NTPC Faridabad, on February 10, 2025, to honour students who excelled in sports. The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. Devendra Singh Gulia (D.S.O, Sports Complex, Sector-12, Faridabad). Principal Mrs. Alka Arora, welcomed the chief guest and appreciated the achievements of the winning athletes.

The students of the school performed exceptionally well in DAV National Sports, CBSE Sports, and SGFI Sports, winning medals in various sports such as Kho-Kho, Football, Kabaddi, Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Boxing, Skipping Rope, and Athletics. Their achievements at the cluster, state, and national levels brought great pride to the school.

*DAV National Sports (Cluster Level) Achievements:*
– *Gold Medals* – 128 students
– *Silver Medals* – 50 students
– *Bronze Medals* – 5 students
*DAV National Sports (State Level) Achievements:*
– *Kho-Kho (Under-19 Boys)* – 11 Gold Medals
– *Football (Under-14 Girls)* – 18 Gold Medals
– *Karate* – 10 Gold, 5 Silver, 3 Bronze Medals
– *Taekwondo* – 10 Gold, 3 Silver, 3 Bronze Medals
– *Boxing (Under-17 Boys)* – 1 Bronze Medal
– *Athletics* – 2 Gold, 3 Silver, 1 Bronze Medal

Additionally, in the *CBSE Zonal Athletics Competition, a student from the school won *1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal.
