YEIDA Accelerates Industrial Development, Appoints Nodal Officers for Sector Parks

Authority to ensure land availability, lease execution, and activation of industrial units across MSME, Medical Devices, Handicraft, Apparel, and Toy Parks by December 2026

Greater Noida: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has intensified efforts to strengthen industrial development across Sectors 28, 29, 32, and 33, where industrial plots have already been allotted under various parks including MSME, Medical Devices, Handicraft, Apparel, and Toy Parks. Lease deed execution, map approval, and construction work are underway, but in several cases, land availability remains incomplete. In most parks, only partial allotment has been made compared to the total planned area. To address this, the Authority will ensure land availability in unallotted areas and introduce a new allotment scheme soon.

YEIDA has also directed officials to hold discussions with allottees who have executed lease deeds and taken possession but have yet to start construction, urging them to commence work and operationalize their industrial units. To ensure effective supervision of land availability, construction, and activation of industrial units, specific nodal officers have been appointed for each park.

Ajay Kumar Sharma, Deputy Collector, will oversee MSME Park, Krishna Gopal Tripathi, Deputy Collector, will supervise the Medical Devices Park, Shiv Avtar Singh, Special Officer, will monitor the Handicraft Park, Shailendra Kumar Singh, Special Officer, will handle the Apparel Park; and Animesh Mahi, Deputy Collector, will manage the Toy Park. These officers will obtain approved layouts from the Planning Department, prepare detailed reports of land acquisition as per khasra numbers, and initiate proceedings for acquiring any remaining land. They will also ensure completion of lease plans and lease deeds for developed plots where land is available, and coordinate issuance of pending lease plans.

In cases where allottees have not yet received map approvals even after executing lease deeds, the officers will coordinate with them to expedite the process. For khasra numbers where land acquisition consent has not been achieved despite repeated efforts, proposals will be submitted for compulsory acquisition. YEIDA has instructed that by December 2026, maximum industrial units in these parks should become operational. The appointed nodal officers will submit progress reports every 15 days to the Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh and the concerned authorities. To strengthen monitoring, the reporting structure for each park has also been revised. The proposal has been submitted for review and final approval.
