NASA, SpaceX Set for Spectacular Crewed Mission Launch to ISS on Wednesday

Los Angeles, Mar 11,2025:  NASA and SpaceX are gearing up for the launch of a new crewed mission to the International Space Station (ISS) on Wednesday, as confirmed by NASA.

The mission, designated Crew-10, will carry NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov to the ISS.

Liftoff is scheduled for 7:48 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The spacecraft is expected to dock with the ISS on Thursday.

Upon the arrival of Crew-10, the SpaceX Crew-9 mission—comprising NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, Butch Wilmore, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov—will return to Earth, marking the completion of their mission aboard the space station.

NASA noted that astronauts Williams and Wilmore have been stranded in space since June last year due to technical issues with Boeing’s Starliner, the spacecraft that transported them to the ISS.

The upcoming Crew-10 mission is part of NASA and SpaceX’s continued efforts to ensure seamless crew rotations and scientific advancements aboard the orbital laboratory.
