Ansal Crown Heights project resolves delays, flats finally handed over

Flat owners of Ansal Crown Heights receive their homes after 20 years, joyful celebrations ensue

Faridabad, March 4: After nearly two decades of uncertainty, flat owners of the Ansal Crown Heights project in Sector 80 are finally receiving possession of their homes. The long-stalled project is nearing completion due to the dedicated efforts of the project’s Resident Welfare Association (RWA). A special ceremony was held at Hotel Green Inn in Sector 17, where RWA members and project resolution professional Sunil Aggarwal distributed possession offer letters to the first batch of homeowners.

Located in one of the city’s prime locations, the project had been stuck in limbo for over 12-15 years, leaving homebuyers in distress. However, due to the persistent efforts of the residents’ association, the high-profile project is now set to be completed. The RWA, led by President Rakesh Malhotra, has been lauded for its relentless advocacy. Many homebuyers had lost hope, assuming that the project would never see completion.
Expressing gratitude towards the association’s leadership, homeowners acknowledged the contributions of President Rakesh Malhotra, Vice President Sanjay Chandak (CA), General Secretary Amit Gupta, and key members Mehul Dhawan, Sunil Mangla, Rajesh Gulati, R.K. Bhatia, and Girdhari Grover. Owners emphasized that after investing their hard-earned money years ago, they are finally seeing their dream come true. The delay, caused by the failure of the Ansal Group, had led to immense frustration and disappointment, but now, the atmosphere is one of celebration.

During the event, RWA President Rakesh Malhotra stated that RP Sunil Aggarwal has already invested over Rs.15 crore to complete the first phase of the project. The second phase is currently under legal proceedings at NCLT, with hopes that court approvals will soon allow its resumption. In the first phase, towers 7, 8, 9, and 10 are being handed over to their respective owners. While possession is being granted, an application has been submitted to the Haryana Town Planning Department for an Occupation Certificate (OC). Once the OC is received, the formal registration process for the flats will commence, ensuring homeowners’ legal ownership.
