The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday transported three suspected accused in the NEET-UG paper leak case to Delhi for extensive questioning. The accused, Sikander Kumar Yadvendu, Nitish Kumar, and Amit Anand, were taken by a CBI team and are expected to be produced before a magistrate for further remand. Officials stated that these individuals are involved in a case for which the Rouse Avenue Court issued a production warrant.
Additionally, the CBI made a fifth arrest in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The accused, identified as Amit Kumar alias Bunty, was found with cash, three bank accounts, four cell phones, and land-related documents at his residence. The CBI brought Bunty to Patna for further investigation and will present him in a special CBI court to request his remand for questioning.
Upon securing Bunty’s remand, the CBI plans to interrogate him alongside Oasis School Principal Ehsanul Haque, Vice-Principal Imtiaz Alam, journalist Jamaluddin, Chintu, and Aman.
