Over 1.5 lakh farmers to benefit as CM Nayab Singh Saini pushes for faster disbursal and system simplification

Haryana- The Government of Haryana has sanctioned ₹370.52 crore under the Kharif 2025 crop compensation scheme, aiming to provide financial relief to more than 1.5 lakh farmers affected by crop losses across the state.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reviewed the progress of the e-Kshatipurti (digital compensation) system and directed officials to ensure that the approved funds are transferred to beneficiaries without delay. He stressed that farmers should receive compensation directly into their bank accounts in a timely manner.

During the review meeting, the chief minister also called for simplifying procedures related to welfare schemes so that farmers do not face unnecessary hurdles. He highlighted the need to address technical and operational challenges that have emerged during the digitisation process.

Officials were instructed to identify and resolve any bottlenecks in the system to make compensation delivery more efficient and accessible. The move is expected to strengthen support for farmers and improve the implementation of relief measures across the state.
