Greater Noida ACEO Vows Action on Industrial Encroachments and Infrastructure Gaps

Greater Noida, May 7: A campaign to remove encroachments from roads in Greater Noida’s industrial sectors will be launched soon. The directive was given by the Additional CEO (ACEO) of Greater Noida Authority, Mr. Soumya Srivastava, during a meeting with representatives of the Indian Industries Association (IIA) and Indian Entrepreneurs Association.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Authority, under instructions from CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar, to address the concerns of local entrepreneurs. Mr. Srivastava, along with General Manager (Finance) Vinod Kumar, OSD Naveen Kumar Singh, and General Manager A.K. Singh, held a meeting on Wednesday with industrialists, where encroachment on roads emerged as a key issue.

Following the discussion, the ACEO instructed Project GM A.K. Singh to initiate an encroachment removal drive in the industrial sectors. Additionally, he directed officials to identify appropriate locations for holding weekly markets, which are currently being set up on roads, causing disruptions.

Other concerns raised by entrepreneurs included poor street lighting in industrial sectors, to which the ACEO assured prompt resolution. On the issue of local transport, he shared that plans are underway to introduce 100 electric buses in Greater Noida.

The meeting also addressed demands for kiosk and toilet facilities on facility plots in industrial zones, with the ACEO promising timely decisions. Issues regarding water billing were also discussed, with assurances of swift redressal.

Senior Manager (Projects) Narottam Singh, Industry Manager Arvind Mohan Singh, and several officials and representatives of the entrepreneurial community were present at the meeting.
