City Press Club Faridabad to Host Diwali Milan on November 1 in Faridabad

Faridabad: The City Press Club Faridabad will organise its annual Diwali Milan celebration on Sunday, November 1, at Samar Grand Banquet Hall in Sector 10, Faridabad. Preparations for the event were reviewed at a meeting of the club’s executive committee held on Thursday under the chairmanship of President Bijender Bansal.

The club has been organising the Diwali Milan celebration regularly for the past 15 years. This year’s gathering is expected to bring together journalists from Faridabad, Palwal and other parts of the Delhi-NCR region, along with representatives of central and state governments, legislators, political leaders, social and religious organisations, entrepreneurs, and representatives from the fields of education, healthcare, law and administration.

During the meeting, the club finalised preparations for the event and discussed arrangements for inviting guests. Club office-bearers also met Police Commissioner Satender Kumar Gupta and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Yashendra Singh, along with Additional Commissioner Dr Gaurav Antil, to invite them to the celebration.

Those present at the meeting included Patron Uttam Raj, Working President Navin Dhamija, General Secretary Rajesh Sharma, Organisational Secretary Sanjay Kapoor, Treasurer Manoj Mandal, Senior Vice-President Sushil Bhatia, Vice-President Anil Arora, Joint Secretary Kuljinder Rajnikar and Omprakash Panchal.

The annual gathering aims to bring members of the media fraternity and representatives from different sections of society together to celebrate Diwali and strengthen professional and social ties.
