CEO Minal Karanwal implements eco-friendly poll booth at ZPHS, Vishnupuri as per ECI norms

Vishnupuri, 15 April , 2024- The country is all set to celebrate the biggest festival of democracy with great pomp as the lok sabha polls have been declared.

The district collector and District Returning Officer Abhijit Raut along with CEO Mrs Minal Karanwal and NWCM Commissioner Doiphode has been conducting various activities to appeal to the voters for exercising their franchise.
The election commission of India has instructed the authorities to set up the eco-friendly poll booths. Mrs. Karanwal, through SVEEP, has been very innovative by setting up an all eco-friendly poll booth at ZP HS Vishnupuri.
This eco-friendly poll booth has been set without the use of plastic.The green mat, flora and the green leaves and branches of palm trees have made the atmosphere endowed with natural greenery.

The use of bamboo and green branches and leaves have been used to set the voting compartment and cabins for polling authorities.

Dr. Savita Birge, Nitesh kumar Bolelu, Makarand Bhalerao, Rajesh Kulkarni Sanjay Bhalke, Vilas Hambarde, Maroti Hambarde have visited the booth and are all appreciative of.
The headmistress Mrs Ujwala Jadhav, Shivaji Vedpathak, Krushna Birajdar, Datta Kendre, Santosh Deshmukh, Anand Valge, Uday Hambarde, Vikas Digraskar, Chandrakala Idalgave, Archana Deshmukh, Kanchanmala Patwe, Shailaja Burse, Priti Kanthke, M.A.Khadir, Maroti Kakde, Kawle and all teachers have taken great efforts in setting up this eco-friendly poll booth.
