Dr Sumit More Represents ILSS Hospitals at NZUSI CARES Program in AIIMS Bilaspur

NZUSI CARES initiative delivers advanced urological care to underprivileged patients through free surgeries and OPD services

Faridabad: Dr Sumit More, Director Urology at ILSS Hospitals, actively participated in the prestigious NZUSI CARES outreach program held at AIIMS Bilaspur. The initiative was aimed at delivering advanced urological care to underprivileged patients.

The program was led by the North Zone Urological Society of India team, including President Dr KamalJeet Singh, Secretary Dr Samir Trivedi, and Treasurer Dr Umesh. Together, the team performed approximately 20 complex urological surgeries free of cost for needy patients, reaffirming their commitment to accessible healthcare.

Dr Sumit More played a key role in the surgical efforts, performing advanced kidney stone procedures as well as complex reconstructive urological surgeries. His expertise contributed significantly to the success of the program and ensured high-quality outcomes for patients who otherwise lack access to such specialized care.

On the second day of the NZUSI CARES initiative, the team conducted a large-scale free OPD camp, where hundreds of patients were evaluated, counselled, and guided for further management. The camp served as a vital platform for early diagnosis and timely intervention in urological conditions.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr Sumit More emphasized the importance of outreach programs in bridging the gap between advanced medical care and underserved populations. “Such initiatives reflect our collective responsibility as urologists to extend our skills beyond hospital settings and serve those in need,” he said.

The NZUSI CARES program continues to be a commendable effort by the urological fraternity to deliver compassionate, high-quality care across regions, reinforcing the spirit of service and excellence in Indian urology.
