SSC releases GD Constable 2026 exam city intimation slip for CAPFs, SSF, Assam Rifles and NCB posts

New Delhi, April 19, 2026: The Staff Selection Commission has released the exam city intimation slip for the Constable General Duty recruitment examination 2026, allowing registered candidates to check the city where their examination centre will be located.

The slip has been made available on the official SSC portal, and candidates can access it by logging in using their registration credentials.

The document only provides information about the exam city and does not include the exact venue or address of the examination centre.

Officials said the advance release of the city information is intended to help candidates plan their travel and accommodation arrangements in time.Candidates applying for posts in Central Armed Police Forces, Secretariat Security Force, Assam Rifles and Sepoy roles in the Narcotics Control Bureau are eligible to view their allotted exam city.

The SSC GD Constable examination is scheduled to be conducted across multiple phases between April 27 and May 30, 2026.

The exam will be held in four separate time windows to manage large scale participation across the country.These phases include April 27 to May 2, May 4 to May 9, May 18 to May 23, and May 25 to May 30, 2026.

The Commission has also introduced a preference based scheduling system this year, allowing candidates to choose their preferred exam week at the time of application.

According to SSC, this step has been taken to streamline logistics and reduce congestion at examination centres.The admit card for the examination will be released shortly before the exam date, likely two to three days in advance.

The admit card will contain full details including exact exam centre address, reporting time and important exam day instructions.
