Amit Shah Extends Wishes on Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Navreh, Sajibu Cheiraoba and Cheti Chand

New Delhi, Mar 19, 2026: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah has conveyed his greetings to citizens across the country on the occasions of Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Navreh, Sajibu Cheiraoba, and Cheti Chand.

In his message, Shah said he hopes Ugadi, which marks the beginning of the new year in several regions, brings happiness, unity, and prosperity in people’s lives.He also extended wishes on Gudi Padwa, describing it as a festival symbolising victory, positivity, and new energy, and prayed for joy and prosperity for all citizens.

On Navreh, the Home Minister conveyed warm greetings to the Kashmiri Pandit community, wishing peace, good health, and prosperity in the new year.For Sajibu Cheiraoba, celebrated in Manipur, he expressed hope that the festival strengthens cultural roots and brings happiness and abundance.

Shah also greeted the Sindhi community on Cheti Chand, the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Jhulelal, highlighting its message of harmony and humanity.He added that the teachings of Bhagwan Jhulelal continue to inspire values of mutual respect and social unity.The Home Minister shared these messages through a series of posts on social media platform X, reflecting festive wishes across diverse cultural traditions in India.
