Delhi Police Bust Inter-State Psychotropic Drug Supply Network, Arrest Multiple Suspects
New Delhi, March 15: The Delhi Police on Sunday said it has successfully dismantled an inter-state network involved in the supply of psychotropic drugs, arresting several individuals and seizing large quantities of controlled substances.
Police officials stated that the operation targeted a syndicate responsible for distributing illicit drugs across multiple states, which posed serious risks to public health and safety.
During coordinated raids across the city and neighbouring regions, authorities recovered psychotropic pills, cash, and digital records pointing to extensive distribution networks.
Investigators noted that the suspects were using sophisticated methods to procure and transport drugs, including encrypted communications and untraceable courier services.
The Delhi Police said that further investigations are underway to identify additional accomplices and trace the network’s full reach, with an aim to prevent similar criminal activities in the future.
