Tiny Tots Shine at “Vividha 2.0-Rang-e-Bharat” Annual Function at DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School

Kindergarten students of DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School, Sector 49 Faridabad, dazzled the audience at the “Vividha 2.0 – Rang-e-Bharat” annual function with colourful folk dance performances celebrating India’s cultural diversity.

Faridabad, March 14, 2026: The tiny tots of Kindergarten of DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School, Sector 49, Faridabad mesmerised the audience with their vibrant performances during the Annual Function titled “Vividha 2.0 – Rang-e-Bharat”, held in the school auditorium on March 14, 2026. The event celebrated the rich cultural diversity of India through lively performances by the young learners.

The function began with an offering to the Almighty followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting. The guests were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Rajan Gautam, who presented them with potted plants as a token of respect.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Kumar Handa, LLB (Hons.), MBA, M.Phil., Ph.D. (Management), Principal Director of IMT, Faridabad & Director, Institute of Law & Research, Faridabad. The function was also presided over by the esteemed Founder Principal, Ms. Neelam Bhalla, whose visionary leadership and unwavering dedication laid the strong foundation of the institution.

The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Kumar Handa, appreciated the relentless efforts of the Principal and teachers for organising such a vibrant programme. He emphasised the importance of strong collaboration among students, teachers and parents in nurturing the holistic development of children. He also highlighted the significance of providing meaningful exposure to students.

The cultural segment of the programme featured a series of captivating dance performances depicting the folk traditions of different states of India. The highlights included Goa Carnival, Bhangra Beats of Punjab, Jive of Haryana, Lavani Magic of Maharashtra, Grace of Southern India, Himalayan Naati, Folk Flair of Chhattisgarh and Ghoomar of Rajasthan. The energetic and graceful performances by the tiny tots won thunderous applause from the audience.

Addressing the gathering, the revered Principal  Rajan Gautam shared an important message with the parents, emphasising the need to spend quality time with their children. He remarked that the love and time invested in children today will encourage them to care for their parents in the future. He also pointed out that the increasing number of old age homes is partly due to the lack of meaningful time spent with children during their formative years. He further shared that the happiness and well-being of his students remain his top priority and with this vision the school has introduced a toy train for the tiny tots, bringing joy and excitement to their learning environment.

He further appreciated the teachers for their dedication, hard work and the personal attention they provide to every child. He praised the strong rapport and bond that teachers build with their students, which contributes significantly to their overall development. The Principal also mentioned that parents expressed great satisfaction that the school had begun its new academic session early in March.

The programme proved to be a grand success, with the audience giving a standing ovation to the little performers. The function concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by Shanti Path and the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with pride and joy.
