DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School Organises Grand 100 Kundiye Hawan Under Drug-Free Nation Campaign

Students, parents and community come together to promote a healthy, drug-free India through Vedic rituals and awareness activities

DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School, Sector-49, Faridabad organised a grand ‘100 KundiyeHawan’ on Sunday, 1st February 2026 in the school premises under the ‘Drug-Free Nation’ campaign. The programme aimed to spread awareness against drug abuse and to strengthen the resolve of building a healthy, drug-free India. This initiative has been undertaken by all DAV schools and colleges across Haryana under the guidance of Shri Yogi Suri, National President, Arya YuvaSamaj.

The Chief Guest, Manoj Naswa (Councillor, Ward No. 16, Faridabad), along with parents and local citizens, graced the occasion. The programme began with Vedic chanting, followed by the chief guest and the Principal offering the first oblation. Teachers, students and parents participated wholeheartedly, creating a spiritually charged and unified atmosphere echoing slogans like “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.”

Students presented a street play on drug de-addiction, effectively highlighting the harmful effects of substance abuse. Addressing the gathering, the chief guest emphasized the collective role of families, schools and society in building a drug-free nation. The Principal, Rajan Gautam, expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and sensitized students about the ill effects of drug abuse.

The programme concluded with Shanti Path and the National Anthem, followed by the distribution of Prasad. The event proved to be meaningful, inspiring and impactful.
