“Night Stay Program ensures quick relief at village level,” says Rewari DC Abhishek Meena

-District officials stay overnight in Bambad village to ensure on-the-spot grievance redressal

Rewari: Following the directions of Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, the district administration under the chairmanship of DC Abhishek Meena organized a Night Stay Public Interaction Program on Tuesday in village Bambad of Rewari district. DC, along with SP Hemendra Meena, SDM Suresh Kumar, and other departmental officers, interacted directly with villagers, listened to public grievances, and provided on-the-spot relief in several cases. Villagers also shared suggestions related to village development. The DC and SP were accorded a warm welcome by the Sarpanch and residents on arrival. DC Meena said that the Samadhan Shivirs and Night Stay Programs initiated by CM are benefiting people from all sections. Officers are reaching citizens at their homes to ensure timely resolution of problems.

He emphasized that the administration is committed to resolving issues directly at the ground level, which is the core objective of these programs. He added that many issues can be resolved locally through mutual harmony and cooperation. He urged villagers to participate collectively in village development and resolve minor disputes amicably, setting an example of brotherhood. He assured that public complaints are being addressed on a priority basis. Villagers from Bambad and nearby areas raised issues related to roads, drainage, illegal encroachments, playground construction, sewerage lines, increased roadways bus services, and electricity. He also directed concerned officers for immediate action, resolving several issues on the spot.

This strengthened public trust in the administration. DC also took prompt cognizance of the demand letter submitted by the Gram Panchayat and issued necessary instructions. Administrative officers inspected the Government Secondary School and the Anganwadi Center in village Bambad and reviewed facilities. Instructions were issued to maintain proper cleanliness and arrangements. During the program, various departments set up stalls to inform villagers about public welfare schemes. Officials explained scheme benefits and procedures and encouraged villagers to avail full benefits. DDPO HP Bansal, BDPO Shubham, Tehsildar Raman Kundu, Sarpanch Manisha, and other dignitaries were also present.
