Chandigarh: During the Winter Session 2025 of the Haryana Assembly, Haryana Cabinet Minister for Urban Local Bodies, Revenue & Disaster Management, and Civil Aviation, Vipul Goel, presented five important bills related to public welfare, cultural preservation, and holistic development of Haryana, which were passed unanimously.

The bills mark a significant step toward good governance, transparency, and people-centric policies, enabling better management, transparency, and strategic planning of major religious and faith centers across the state.

The legislation includes amendments to Kapal Mochan, Badri Narayan, Mantra Devi, and Kedarnath worship sites, the International Geeta Jayanti Fair Authority, Mata Bhimeshwari Devi Temple Ashram Devi worship site, Mata Sheetala Devi worship site, and Shri Mata Mansa Devi worship site, making the management of these religious sites more organized, transparent, and beneficial for the public.
During the session, Minister Vipul Goel addressed opposition questions, highlighting the government’s historic initiatives for farmer welfare, noting that from 2005 to 25 October 2014 under the Congress government, farmers received only Rs.1,158 crore in compensation, whereas under BJP government since 2014, Rs.4,771.89 crore has been disbursed.

He emphasized that the government prioritizes farmers’ interests with full transparency, sensitivity, and accountability, and under the dual-engine leadership, Haryana is progressing rapidly on the path of development. Minister Vipul Goel added that under the Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s visionary leadership, the Haryana government is committed to public welfare, cultural heritage preservation, and balanced overall development, driving the state to new heights and strengthening the vision of a developed Haryana.
