Chief Minister Rekha Gupta releases the souvenir on ‘Half Century in Journalism of Pradeep Sardana’

New Delhi, 19 August 2025 – Veteran journalist, poet and art & film critic Pradeep Sardana met Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and presented her a souvenir of his golden jubilee in journalism. Pradeep Sardana’s wife Sangeeta Sardana, daughter Stuti Sardana and son Kritarth Sardana were also present on this occasion. While releasing the souvenir, CM Rekha Gupta appreciated the achievements of Pradeep Sardana and congratulated him.

The souvenir ‘Half Century in Journalism of Pradeep Sardana’ has a pictorial glimpse of Pradeep Sardana’s golden journey of 50 years. Along with this, there are also some articles by eminent personalities on his life and his journey of writing and journalism, such as Atul Tare, Group Editor of ‘Swadesh’, Vikas Mishra, Editor of ‘Lokmat Samachar’, former Director General of Indian Institute of Mass Communication Professor Sanjay Dwivedi, Principal of Hansraj College of Delhi University, Professor Rama, renowned educationist and litterateur Ratan Chand Sardana and popular Doordarshan-DD News anchor Mamta Chopra.

The souvenir also comprises of congratulatory messages to Shri Sardana from some of the most distinguished personalities of the country. These include messages from former Deputy Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Lal Krishna Advani, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Mansukh Mandaviya, Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav, Indian Ambassador to Ireland Akhilesh Mishra, Chairman of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Nirman Samiti and Prime Minister Museum Nripendra Mishra, Delhi State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, MP Ravi Kishan and Bansuri Swaraj.

The attraction of the souvenir is also the pictures of His Excellency Governor of Bihar Arif Mohammad Khan when the Governor himself reached Pradeep Sardana’s Delhi residence to congratulate him on the golden jubilee of journalism.

The souvenir has been published by ‘Aadharshila’, a group of writers, journalists and artists, and the news portal ‘Punarvas online. com’.
