Bhopal July 22 2024 : The Trinamool Congress (TMC) strongly criticized Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government following a disturbing incident in Rewa district, where two women were nearly buried alive under gravel dumped from a truck.
In a scathing statement posted on social media, the TMC accused the BJP-backed government of fostering a climate of lawlessness that has led to a threefold increase in atrocities against women. Referring to the incident in Rewa, the TMC demanded that Chief Minister @DrMohanYadav51 take responsibility and “hang his head in shame.”
According to police reports, the shocking incident occurred in Hinota Jorot village under Mangawa police station on Saturday. Reacting to the incident, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that the safety of Madhya Pradesh citizens, particularly women, remains a top priority for his administration. Yadav stated that stringent action will be taken against the perpetrators and assured that justice will be served to the victims.
