A massive fire has gutted the iconic 106-year-old Maharani Temple in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, causing devastating damage.

A massive blaze has engulfed the iconic Maharani Temple in the tourist destination of Gulmarg, located atop a hillock in Jammu and Kashmir. The fire, which erupted at the renowned temple, where the iconic Bollywood song ‘Jai Jai Shiv Shankar’ featuring Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz was once filmed, consumed the structure overnight, reducing it to ashes.

The Maharani Temple held significant religious importance, serving as a popular pilgrimage site in the Kashmir Valley. Reports indicate that the blaze broke out at around 3:45 AM on June 5.
