Public Outrage Against BJP Growing: Bhupinder Hooda

Faridabad, 10 May, 2024 : A dozen former councilors in Faridabad abandon BJP, embrace Congress.

In Haryana, opposition leader and former Chief Minister Chaudhary Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the public’s anger towards the BJP is matched by their enthusiasm for the Congress. The current government only appeases criminals, corrupt individuals, and drug dealers. The public is thoroughly distressed by BJP’s policies and practices. Consequently, leaders leaving BJP to join Congress in the state is becoming a trend.

Mr. Hooda addressed the public at his residence on Friday. On this occasion, a dozen former councilors from Faridabad Municipal Corporation, led by Congress’ Faridabad Lok Sabha candidate Chaudhary Mahendra Pratap Singh, announced their departure from BJP to join Congress. They said that corruption of over 200 crore rupees has been done, and their voices are not being heard. They are not being listened to regarding developmental works. There is no other way left for us to support Mahendra Pratap except to support Mahendra Pratap against the unchecked BJP rule. We are going to change the BJP rule in this election and thereafter.

Former councilor Kailash Bansal and current councilor Hema Bansal said that in their village, a drainage worth about two and a half crore rupees has been built on paper, and payment has also been made. We have not seen such corruption in our life. Therefore, we have decided to change.
