Faridabad , 11 September , 2024 : Haryana’s Education Minister and Badkhal MLA, Mrs. Seema Trikha, held a press conference on Wednesday, presenting an account of the last ten years of BJP’s tenure. She expressed her gratitude to former Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for their contributions to the development of the Badkhal area and thanked Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar for his support.
When asked about the rumors of her ticket being cut, she clarified that the BJP has given her much, and her responsibility has been changed. She emphasized that she harbors no resentment or disappointment and will carry out any duty the party assigns her with utmost sincerity. She noted that during her ten-year tenure from 2014 to 2024, she had planned the development of Badkhal with a vision, and now the next MLA will have to surpass her efforts.
She mentioned that when she first became an MLA from Badkhal, the area did not have its own tehsil or subdivision, and the entire region was in a state of despair. After becoming the MLA, she ensured that Badkhal was designated as a tehsil and then secured a separate subdivision status. Additionally, she listed several key development projects, including the establishment of a passport office, the approval of YMCA University, the ongoing Rs 80 crore restoration work for Badkhal Lake, the construction of an outer periphery road costing Rs 80 crore, the construction of new buildings for seven government schools in the area with a budget of Rs 33 crore, and securing land for the Model Sanskriti School in Sector-48.
Furthermore, she highlighted the renovation of the Dussehra Ground, the establishment of three new power substations, the beautification of several roundabouts such as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Patel Chowk, Neelam Chowk, BK Chowk, ESI Chowk, and Chimni Bai Chowk, the construction of a railway underpass in Mevla Maharajpur, the establishment of five new water boosters, and the construction of Haryana’s first modern bus station. Other accomplishments included road infrastructure, beautification of parks, installation of open gyms, construction under the Smart City initiative, and the development of community centers. She stated that these projects narrate the development story of Badkhal now.
Seema Trikha also expressed her gratitude to the people of Faridabad and Palwal districts, stating that it is due to their blessings that she has held honorable positions, ranging from councilor to two-term MLA, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, and Education Minister in the Haryana government. She credited all these achievements to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and asserted that the BJP would form the government for the third consecutive term in Haryana.
