New Delhi, 14 November, 2023- The opening ceremony of the 42nd Indian International Trade Fair was led by Union Minister of State for Industry & Commerce, Anupriya Patel, with Bihar’s Local Commissioner, Kundan Kumar, participating as a guest. Following the inaugural event, Kundan Kumar explored the Bihar Pavilion’s stalls at Hall Number 2 of Pragati Maidan. The Partner State Bihar Pavilion features 57 stalls displaying and selling products, showcasing Bihar’s industrial progress and start-ups.
Udayn Maharthi, Director of Bihar Pavilion, highlighted the state government’s goal to establish Bihar’s identity globally through the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – United by Trade.” The Bihar Pavilion provides a special platform for emerging entrepreneurs and start-ups to promote their products internationally.
Vivek Ranjan Maithrey, Director of Udayn Maharthi Shilp Anusandhan Sansthan, emphasized that this year’s Bihar Pavilion aims to represent all types of products through 57 stalls, including those dedicated to MSMEs, start-ups, Chief Minister Entrepreneur Scheme, PMGPP, PMFME, Handloom, Handicrafts, and Khadi. These stalls will conduct continuous meetings with visitors and business investors for 15 days to encourage investment in Bihar.
