PM Modi criticizes Rahul Gandhi’s “Shakti Elimination” Remark

Shivamogga (Karnataka), March 18 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing criticism against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent “Shakti Elimination” remark, denouncing it as disrespectful towards the “Nari Shakti” (women power) of India and Hindu Dharma. Modi, addressing a public rally ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, accused the INDIA Alliance of aiming to abolish the concept of ‘Shakti’ and emphasized his commitment to serving and empowering women in India.

He declared, “The I.N.D.IA alliance’s proclamation to abolish the concept of ‘Shakti’ not only disrespects Hindu Dharma but also the Nari Shakti of India.” Modi reaffirmed his dedication to serving and empowering the women of India, declaring, “Modi is dedicated to serving and empowering the mothers, daughters, and sisters of India.”

Rahul Gandhi’s comments, made during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Mumbai, where he referred to Modi as a “mask” for a power (“shakti”), were also highlighted by Modi. He expressed concern over the announcement made at Shivaji Park in Mumbai regarding the elimination of “Shakti,” suggesting it would have hurt the legacy of Bal Thackeray, a prominent figure in Maharashtra politics.

Furthermore, Modi accused the Congress and the INDIA Alliance of resorting to divisive politics, citing Congress leader DK Suresh’s separatist remarks as an example. He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to development, the welfare of the poor, and building a robust India, contrasting it with what he described as the opposition’s lack of vision and agenda.

Modi concluded his speech by thanking the people of Karnataka for their support and expressed confidence in the BJP’s ability to secure victory across the state’s 28 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
