Faridabad, January 22,2025: Under the instructions of DCP Traffic Jasleen Kaur, students from Government College Kheri Gujran, Government Nehru College Sector 16, Satyug Darshan College Bhupani, and SDIMT Institute of Technology, along with youths associated with the Nehru Yuva Kendra, received special training on traffic rules and signboards. The training was conducted by Road Safety Inspector Rajesh Kumar at the premises of the Traffic Police Station. All volunteer students were given reflector jackets and deployed at various intersections to assist the traffic police.
Social worker Dr. M.P. Singh provided a detailed explanation of traffic problems, their solutions, and the importance of adhering to traffic rules.
After the training, these volunteers will assist in managing traffic at the city’s busy intersections. They will also play a vital role in motivating the public to follow traffic rules, contributing to making Faridabad accident-free.
DCP Traffic stated that several individuals in the city are already working as road safety officers alongside the traffic police. The initiative by volunteers to reduce road accidents and promote adherence to traffic rules as part of the “Accident-Free Faridabad” campaign is commendable.
