Education and Value Based Learning Focus of New School Project in Godhavi

Ahmedabad, May 8, 2026: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel laid the foundation stone for a new campus of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir in Godhavi, Ahmedabad, marking a major step in expanding value based education infrastructure in the state.

The ceremony was held with traditional rituals as part of an initiative led by the Art of Living organisation to develop a modern educational campus focused on holistic student development. The project aims to combine academic excellence with value based learning and modern facilities.

The upcoming campus will include advanced facilities such as a sports academy, performing and creative arts centre, technology and innovation hub, and a business learning wing. These features are designed to support all round development of students, including academic growth, creativity, leadership skills and innovation.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of integrating education with values, spirituality and modern learning methods. He said such institutions play a key role in shaping responsible citizens and preparing youth for future technological opportunities.

He also pointed to Gujarat’s focus on strengthening the education sector through large scale investment and policy initiatives, stating that the state is committed to building a strong foundation for future generations through improved learning environments and infrastructure.

Officials and representatives of the institution were also present at the event, which underlined the government’s continued emphasis on educational development and youth empowerment across the state.
