Airport authorities caght a Kerala man, who was scheduled to travel to London with his family, after he made a bomb threat on an Air India flight

On Tuesday, a bomb threat targeted a London-bound Air India flight, which ultimately proved to be a hoax — the latest in a series of threats that Indian airports have faced in recent months.

Authorities have apprehended a 29-year-old man suspected of making the threatening call, as confirmed by an official. Security personnel conducted thorough inspections of the aircraft and concluded there was no danger, allowing flight AI 149, scheduled from Cochin to London Gatwick, to proceed without incident. According to a spokesperson from Cochin International Airport, the bomb threat call was received by the Air India call center in Mumbai early Tuesday morning.
