Suniel Shetty Meets Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary Over Upcoming Film Shoot in Patna

Patna, August 11, 2026; Actor and producer Suniel Shetty met Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary in Patna to discuss arrangements for an upcoming film project that is expected to be shot in the state for nearly two months.

The proposed production is likely to begin in October and could continue for around 50 to 60 days. Discussions during the meeting focused on logistical requirements and the availability of suitable locations for the film.

Shetty said Bihar’s recently introduced initiatives for the film sector were among the factors encouraging the production team to consider the state for a substantial part of the project. He also indicated that the government’s approach towards attracting film productions had been encouraging.

The actor-producer has been involved in preliminary location scouting, with Patna and Sitamarhi being considered for portions of the shoot. The upcoming film is reportedly inspired by real-life events.

Shetty also welcomed the state government’s broader efforts to encourage industrial investment and said a supportive administrative environment could help Bihar attract more film projects as well as other industries.

The meeting comes as Bihar seeks to strengthen its position as a filming destination by promoting policies aimed at facilitating movie productions in the state.

The proposed shoot could bring a major film production to Bihar later this year and provide greater visibility to the state’s locations and emerging film infrastructure.

Shetty was recently seen in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ and is also associated with the upcoming ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
