Har Ghar Tiranga and Vande Mataram Campaign Launched in Jhajjar with Grand Public Participation

Jhajjar, August 9 : The Har Ghar Tiranga and Vande Mataram campaigns were launched in Jhajjar on Sunday with a series of patriotic activities aimed at encouraging public participation and strengthening the spirit of nationalism. Deputy Commissioner Varsha Khangwal formally inaugurated the district-level campaign and flagged off a specially prepared video publicity van carrying the theme “Desh Ke Naam Sandesh”for both urban and rural areas of the district. The DC herself wrote her message for the nation on the campaign van before flagging it off. She also inaugurated a selfie point based on the Har Ghar Tiranga and Vande Mataram themes at the Mini Secretariat by unveiling its ribbon. A large number of ex-servicemen also participated in the programme and shared their messages for the nation.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Varsha Khangwal appealed to the people of Jhajjar to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and help transform it into a mass movement. She said the Har Ghar Tiranga and Vande Mataram campaigns are major initiatives promoting patriotism, national pride and public participation. Various activities will be organised across the district from August 9 to 17 to create an atmosphere of patriotism and encourage citizens to actively associate themselves with the campaign.

The Deputy Commissioner said Jhajjar is a district with a strong military tradition, with a large number of soldiers serving the nation. She said Jhajjar is the only district in Haryana where, under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a special publicity vehicle based on the “Desh Ke Naam Sandesh”theme will travel through urban and rural areas to spread awareness among citizens and encourage them to participate in the campaign.

The DC appealed to every citizen to proudly hoist the national flag at their homes, offices and establishments while ensuring full respect for the Tricolour. She said the awareness van would travel to different parts of the district and motivate people to participate in the campaign and hoist the national flag on the occasion of Independence Day. She urged maximum families in both villages and urban areas to join the initiative and contribute to creating an atmosphere of patriotism throughout the district.

Deputy Commissioner Khangwal also called upon public representatives, social and voluntary organisations, educational institutions and citizens to actively participate in the campaign. She directed all concerned departments and organisations to work in coordination and spread awareness about respecting the national flag and following the provisions of the Flag Code. She said the Tricolour is a symbol of the nation’s unity, integrity and pride, and respecting it is the collective responsibility of every citizen. She appealed to residents to encourage their family members, neighbours and others in their communities to become part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

District President of the Indian Veterans Organisation Subedar Major Surender Yadav, Patron Rajkishan Harit, General Secretary Bhup Singh, veterans Hazari Lal, Krishna Kumar, Dharamvir Singh, Prakash, Rai Singh, Pankaj, Laxman Singh and Mahender Singh, along with ADC Jaganivas, CEO Zila Parishad Manish Faugat, CTM Ritu, DEO Ratinder Singh, DIPRO Dinesh Kumar, GM Roadways Anit Yadav, DSO Satender Kumar and other officials were present on the occasion.
