Mumbai: The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have released the film’s second song, “Manmohaka” (released as “Madhosh” in Hindi), giving audiences another glimpse into the mysterious world of the upcoming action drama. Featuring Yash alongside Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani and Nayanthara, the song has generated significant discussion across social media platforms.
The music video focuses on the growing relationship between Yash’s character, Raya, and Tara Sutaria’s Rebecca. The pair share several romantic moments, suggesting a deep emotional connection. However, the narrative soon introduces Kiara Advani’s character, Nadia, hinting at a complicated love triangle and raising questions about Raya’s relationships.
Nayanthara, who is believed to portray Raya’s sister, also appears in the video, adding to the mystery surrounding the film’s storyline. While the song avoids revealing major plot details, it offers subtle hints that the relationships between the characters may be more complex than they initially appear.
Before the song’s release, Tara Sutaria teased fans on social media with a thought-provoking message questioning whether monogamy is a matter of the heart or society. Director Geetu Mohandas also shared the post, further building anticipation for the film.
Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, “Manmohaka” features vocals by Siddharth Basrur. The track has been released in multiple languages, including Hindi (Madhosh), Telugu (Manasagadhe), Tamil (Thadumaarudheyyy) and Malayalam (Madhu Mohini).
The song has received mixed reactions from viewers. While many appreciated its visuals and romantic tone, others admitted they were still unable to understand the film’s storyline. Several fans also compared the track with the previously released “Tabaahi,” with many saying the first song had a stronger impact, though others preferred the emotional appeal of “Manmohaka.”
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups stars Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26, 2026.
