Raipur, Mar 12: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said trainee judges will play a crucial role in strengthening the judiciary, describing it as the third pillar of democracy and a cornerstone of the justice delivery system.
The Chief Minister made the remarks when trainee judges from the Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy in Bilaspur paid a courtesy visit to him at his office in the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha on Thursday.
Congratulating the young officers on their selection to the judicial service, Sai extended his best wishes and expressed confidence that they would carry out their responsibilities with integrity and dedication. He said the coming years would bring significant responsibilities for them as they serve society and uphold the rule of law.
Emphasising the importance of fairness and sensitivity in judicial work, the Chief Minister urged the trainee judges to remain committed to constitutional values while delivering justice.
He noted that the judiciary plays a vital role in protecting the rights of citizens and maintaining public faith in the legal system. According to him, a strong and impartial judiciary is essential for ensuring justice and strengthening democratic institutions.
Principal Secretary (Law) Sushma Sawant, Director of the Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy Nidhi Sharma Tiwari, and other officials were present during the interaction.
