New Delhi, January 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared an article by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, underscoring the growing role of India’s Gen-Z in shaping the nation’s march towards becoming a developed country by 2047.
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that as India works collectively to achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat, the country’s young generation is emerging as a strong force for positive change. He noted that the article reflects how Gen-Z is constructively channelising its energy for national causes.
According to the Prime Minister, Indian youth have played a leading role in several major public campaigns over recent years. These include cleanliness initiatives under Swachh Bharat, patriotic movements like Har Ghar Tiranga, tributes to martyrs through Meri Maati Mera Desh, and efforts to build a drug-free society under the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign.
The Prime Minister’s message highlighted the increasing participation of young Indians in nation-building activities and their contribution to social transformation. He said such involvement reflects the sense of responsibility and optimism among the youth as India moves towards its long-term development goals.
By sharing the article, Modi reiterated his belief that the aspirations, innovation and commitment of Gen-Z will be central to shaping a strong, inclusive and developed India in the coming decades.
