Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday met a delegation of the Jharkhand Cultural Artist Association at the Jharkhand Ministry. During the meeting, the delegation members jointly expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that under his leadership the Department of Art, Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs has not only safeguarded the identity of Jharkhand’s artists by developing the CTMS (Cultural Talent Management System) but also paved the way for protecting their interests.
They further noted that the government’s approval for establishing the Lalit Kala Akademi, Sahitya Akademi, and Sangeet Natak Akademi in the state has laid a strong foundation for the growth of art and culture in Jharkhand. The delegation conveyed that these initiatives mark historic steps in securing the future of local artists and promoting cultural heritage. They extended heartfelt thanks to the Chief Minister on behalf of the association.
On this occasion, MLA Bhushan Tirkey, Padma Shri awardee Madhu Mansuri, Association President Rajkumar Nagwanshi, Secretary Dr. Rakesh Raman, Founder Shrikant Induwar, Dr. Sushil Ankan, Dr. Jaikant Induwar, Bandi Oraon, Amit Tirkey, Rahul Mahli, and many others dignitaries were also present.
