New Delhi : On Saturday, services at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi were significantly impacted due to a breakdown of the hospital’s server used for online facilities. Patients are facing considerable difficulties as all procedures have been halted because of this technical issue. Currently, Delhi AIIMS relies on the National Informatics Centre’s (NIC) eHospital server for online procedures.
The server issue has caused widespread disruption to various online services since the morning, with prescriptions being processed manually in offline mode. The technical problem has led to difficulties in creating OPD cards and has caused some patients to struggle with getting their tests done. Additionally, new patients are unable to obtain online OPD cards, and there are issues with patient registration.
