BJP has ruined the country: Aftab Ahmed

Faridabad , 4 May, 2024 : The Deputy Leader of the Congress Legislative Party and former Cabinet Minister of Haryana, Aftab Ahmed, stated that the BJP has ruined the country, putting both democracy and republicanism in danger. It is essential to establish the India Alliance in order to foster peace and harmony in the country and state. As the BJP divides people in the name of caste, religion, Hindu-Muslim, and temples-mosques, it is crucial to empower the India Alliance to govern the nation. People had voted for the BJP government for development, but now, intoxicated with power, they have strayed from the path of development. It is time to respond to their arrogance with the power of the vote, so they realize the strength of the common people. Aftab Ahmed addressed a massive public gathering organized in the village of Dhauj in the NIT Assembly constituency of Faridabad on Saturday. Thousands of people from around 8 villages gathered to express their support for the Congress candidate, Mahendra Pratap Singh, ensuring his victory with overwhelming votes.

Meanwhile, former Cabinet Minister Aftab Ahmed was also honored by the community by tying a turban around him. Addressing the gathering, Aftab Ahmed emotionally connected with the audience, stating that today he has come to seek votes for Babu Mahendra Pratap Singh from his in-laws, while he has never sought votes for his father Khurshid Ahmed. Babu Mahendra Pratap is not only a personality of high stature but also rich in honesty like a village person. You know well about him because he has always shared your sorrows and pains while serving as a five-time legislator and cabinet minister. Now, it is our duty to unite and send him to parliament.

Congress Lok Sabha candidate and former Cabinet Minister Chaudhary Mahendra Pratap Singh attacked the BJP, stating that in the last ten years, they have only given corruption, unemployment, and inflation. They have only practiced the policy of spreading hatred and fighting brother against brother. He said that from the needle to the airplane, all development has taken place under Congress rule, and the computer revolution in the country is also the legacy of Congress. He said, “Today, I have come to seek your support, and you have always supported me. If you support me again this time, after becoming a Member of Parliament, development will not be lacking in this NIT Assembly constituency, and jobs will be provided to the youth. Good law and order will be ensured, along with arrangements for good education for children.”

On this occasion, MLA Neeraj Sharma of the NIT constituency said that he has fought for the development of the constituency from roads to Delhi and Chandigarh and has sacrificed everything in his life for the development of the area. He assured that the brave people of NIT will work to ensure the victory of Babu Mahendra Pratap Singh in the Lok Sabha elections.
