Kumari Selja said that all the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have failed. She said that now journalists are attending Congress rallies, which is a sign that the next government will be formed by Congress. Previously, the media only showcased Modi all day. Kumari Selja was addressing a public meeting in the village of Panniwala Mota on Thursday. She said that the public has lost faith in Modi’s guarantees. She said that when she first visited Panniwala Mota village with former minister Jagdish Nehra, the villagers presented her with a garland made of currency notes. She expressed happiness at visiting Nehra’s village again.

Kumari Selja said that Bjp has divided the country on the basis of caste and religion, whereas Congress has always worked to unite all communities. She said that promoting brotherhood and said that they will work again to maintain it. She said that every section of society has suffered during Bjp’s 10-year rule. Kumari Selja said that in the last ten years, Bjp has not undertaken any development work and is now trying to mislead people with absurd statements during the elections. She said that people have understood everything now, and Bjp’s slogans won’t work anymore. Selja said that Rahul Gandhi traveled 10,000 kilometers across the country to understand the pain and suffering of every person. Based on this understanding, Congress has named its manifesto ‘Nyay Patra,’ promising 5 justices and 25 guarantees to the public. Kumari Selja said that Modi for putting up hoardings across the country claiming he is providing free ration to 80 crore people. She said that this ration is actually provided under the National Food Security Act of 2013, passed by Dr. Manmohan Singh, which Modi had opposed. The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) is merely a rebranding of the National Food Security Act (NFSA).

She said that with a population of 141 crores, 95 crore people should receive subsidized ration, not just 80 crores. Due to the Modi government’s failure to conduct the 2021 census, only 81 crore people are receiving ration, depriving 14 crore more people of their legal rights. Kumari Selja said that this election is not about any individual, caste, or religion; it is an election for everyone. It is about saving democracy and the Constitution, not about anyone’s personal gain or loss. Selja said that Modi promised 15 lakhs to every person and 2 crore jobs every year, but none of these promises were fulfilled. Similarly, the promise to double farmers’ income has resulted in halving it. Promises made for the upliftment of Dalits and backward classes also saw no progress.
