During the meeting, Hardeep Singh Doon, ADGP (Telecommunications), Haryana, held detailed discussions with all the officers present regarding the aforementioned points. He issued directives emphasizing that, while taking strict action against crime and criminals, efforts must also be made to enhance the public image of the police force. He directed that special campaigns be launched at the police station level to ensure the installation of the maximum possible number of CCTV cameras across the Faridabad district. He noted that CCTV cameras play a crucial role in apprehending criminals and curbing criminal activity.

Furthermore, regarding comparative crime statistics, he instructed officers to identify “hotspots” areas with high crime rates in order to effectively control criminal activity. He emphasized that identifying hotspots should not remain a mere formality; rather, officers must ensure that these specific areas are rendered crime-free in the future. He also directed that lists of criminals released on bail from jail be shared among officers to facilitate the monitoring of their activities, and that all Investigating Officers be provided with extensive training regarding the new criminal laws. He remarked that drug addiction is a grave affliction, causing both economic and physical ruin. He noted that any household where a member is addicted to drugs inevitably suffers, leaving the entire family in perpetual distress.
