Law Minister has celebrated the achievements of the special Lok Adalat and underscored the significance of mediation in Indian culture

The final day of the special Lok Adalat organized by the Supreme Court, an initiative aimed at delivering justice to citizens in a straightforward and expeditious manner.

This special Lok Adalat was established to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Supreme Court and is designed to provide accessible, efficient, and cost-effective justice.

Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal addressed the function, noting that over one thousand cases have been resolved through this Lok Adalat. The cases encompassed a range of issues, including civil disputes, land acquisition matters, and matrimonial conflicts. Minister Meghwal highlighted the tradition of mediation in Indian culture, emphasizing its role in resolving disputes through dialogue and mutual understanding. This tradition aligns with the principles of the Lok Adalat, which seeks to offer a swift and amicable resolution to legal matters.
