Agartala, May 28, 2026: Governor of Tripura Indra Sena Reddy Nallu interacted with a student delegation from Haryana taking part in the Yuva Sangam Phase VI programme during their visit to Lok Bhavan in Agartala on May 26.
The delegation, led by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, was accorded a warm reception at NIT Agartala as part of the cultural and educational exchange initiative under the Ministry of Education.
During the interaction, the Governor shared insights into Tripura’s governance structure, administrative functioning, and development priorities. The students also received an opportunity to understand the state’s institutional framework, cultural diversity, and contribution towards national integration.
As part of the learning programme, the delegation toured several important historical, cultural, and administrative sites across Tripura. The students explored the state’s traditions, heritage, and developmental initiatives through direct exposure and field visits.
The participants also visited prominent temples in the state, where they experienced Tripura’s spiritual and cultural legacy.
Yuva Sangam Phase VI, launched by the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education, aims to strengthen emotional bonding, cultural understanding, and national unity among youth through immersive exchange programmes.
The initiative connects participants from 22 paired States and Union Territories, offering students opportunities to learn about India’s cultural richness, innovation ecosystems, and collective aspirations for nation-building.
