Fusion of Feminine Expression and Spiritual Aesthetics

Grand Showcase of the Art Exhibition ‘Rangini’

The Civil Services Officers Institute, Chanakyapuri, is currently hosting ‘Rangini’, a vibrant art exhibition by distinguished artists Aashima Mehrotra and M Sarada, curated by Sh. Kishore Labar. The show was inaugurated on Monday, 1st September 2025, at 4:30 PM and will remain open to visitors until 13th September 2025, daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The group art exhibition ‘Rangini’ introduces viewers to a unique artistic realm brimming with colours, emotions and spirituality. Dedicated to the selected works of two renowned visual artists, Aashima Mehrotra and M. Sarada, the exhibition presented two distinct artistic expressions woven together in a deep emotional dialogue.

True to its name, ‘Rangini’ emerged as a symbol of feminine expression, the diversity of colours, and the depth of emotions. Among the highlights, Aashima Mehrotra’s works, such as ‘Vibhatsa’ and ‘Dahleez’, invited viewers into introspection, philosophy and spiritual exploration. Her creations carried echoes of cosmic silence and a meditative stillness. In contrast, M. Sarada’s paintings like ‘Golden Mountains’ and ‘Ardh-Nareshwar’ reflected the beauty, rhythm and balance of life, expressed through rich layers of colour and powerful symbolism.

Though different in style, both artists conveyed a shared depth and sensitivity, offering audiences a collective spiritual experience. Aashima’s contemplative, Vedanta-inspired works guided viewers into the inner recesses of the soul, while Sarada’s spontaneous, vibrant canvases revealed the diversity of life and the freedom of creative expression.

The exhibition was more than a display of colour and form, it allowed audiences to experience art at the level of the soul and emotion. ‘Rangini’ reaffirmed that art is not confined to visual aesthetics alone but also serves as a medium for inner journeys and self-reflection. For art lovers seeking to engage with the depth, diversity and spiritual heritage of Indian art, the exhibition proved to be profoundly inspiring.
